What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3:00pm and check-out is by 10:30am. If you need a little flexibility, just let us know — we’ll always try to help where we can.


How does check-in work?

We offer self check-in, so you can arrive at a time that suits you. Full details will be sent before your stay for a smooth arrival.


Is parking available?

Yes — each room or apartment includes free designated parking, monitored by CCTV.


Is WiFi available?

Absolutely. We provide fast, free WiFi throughout the property.


Do you offer laundry facilities?

Yes, a laundry service is available on request — just ask Louise for details during your stay.


Is smoking allowed?

Smoking isn’t permitted inside the property, but there is a designated outdoor smoking area available.


Are pets allowed?

We welcome well-behaved pets in Rooms 11 and 12 only, so you can bring your four-legged companion along for the stay. A £20 per night fee applies, helping us keep everything clean, fresh, and comfortable for all guests. We kindly ask that they are not left unattended in the room.


Can I host a party or event?

The Allerdale is a place to relax and unwind, so parties are not permitted within the accommodation. We can host an event in the main building including food and bar, ask Louise, she loves to organise a good shindig.


Do you cater for group bookings?

Yes — we can accommodate groups of up to 18 guests across our rooms and apartments. Get in touch to discuss your requirements.


Are the rooms self-catering?

Our apartments are fully self-catering, and our rooms include tea-making facilities and fridges for added convenience.


How close are you to the beach and town centre?

We’re just a short walk from Torquay beach and town centre, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.


What if I need help during my stay?

Louise is always just a call or message away — available when you need help, but never intrusive.

What is your cancellation policy?

The deposit is non-refundable, and cancellations within 14 days of arrival may be charged in full.


Can we use the garden?

We take great pride in looking after our garden, and we’d love for you to enjoy it with us. During the summer months, the garden is open for guests to relax and admire from 3pm to 7pm.
